Wendy Henriksen

I have been practising Yoga for over 20 years and went to my first yoga class as I was curious and have been practising ever since, both at home or in studio. I always feel a sense of calm and peace or perhaps call it a connection, where my mind and body become more self-aware and balanced, which helps me not only relax right there and then but I find it carries me through the day increasing my resilience to 'do life'.

I wanted to share this 8 years ago where I completed my qualifications in 200 hours Hatha training, then another 150 hours training in Advanced Modifications using props, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra (my fav meditation). I recently also completed 50 hours of Yin Yoga training. I have lead classes and workshops over the years in different spaces locally.

As a single mum to 2 teenagers who has worked in the corporate world for over 25 years and recently finishing treatment for Breast Cancer, my passion is to share these practises in a real and grounding way so others can experience and find their own inner calm.
